Lynne Brown Pyle, 79, of Dahlonega died on Thursday, October 21, 2011. She was born in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Robert King Brown and Mabel Sanders Brown and graduated from the University of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stubbs Pyle; daughter, Donna Pyle Sammons (Alpharetta); brother, Robert George Brown (Doraville); and sister-in-law, Carol Pyle Mitchell (Birmingham, Ala.).

She is survived by her son, Mark Pyle (Judy Kreps); grandchildren, Duane Sammons (Brianne) and Marisa Pyle; cousins, Woodie Montgomery and Walt Morris; sister-in-law, Nancy Brown; nephews, Jay Mitchell (Tonya) and Rob Brown; niece, Nanette Lovins; great-nephew Jack Mitchell (Kim); great-niece Annie Mitchell; and second cousin, Bart Montgomery.

A memorial service for Lynne will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, Ga.
