Mr. Norman J. Bragg Sr., age 74, of Murrayville, died September 11, 2011.

Mr. Bragg was the son of the late Norman R. Bragg and Clara Bruock Bragg.

Mr. Bragg was a self employed carpenter. He attended St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Dahlonega, Ga. and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Cain Bragg; Murrayville; daughter, Julie Blackwell, Bradenton, Florida; sons, Timothy Bragg, Sarasota, Fla., Norman J. Bragg Jr., Bradenton, Fla., Brian Bragg; Bradenton, Fla., Russell Bragg, San Antonio, Texas; brothers George Bragg and Paul Bragg, both of Michigan; Mike Bragg, Indiana. Five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held September 14, 2011 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Dahlonega. Father Neal Dhabliwala officiated.

Interment followed in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2565 Thompson Bridge Road Suite 114, Gainesville, Ga. 30501.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of arrangements.
