Mr. Rickett was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Chastain Disspain.
He had lived in Dahlonega for several years.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Ashley Rickett, Dawsonville; stepdaughter, Kristy Harper, Cleveland, Ga.; father, Louis Disspain, Dahlonega; brothers, David Disspain, James Disspain, and Danny Disspain, all of Dahlonega.
Funeral services were held September 25, 2011 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.
Rev. James Wilbanks will officiated.
Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
